Hi,

I am looking to split up films into chunks of say 30mins (have films on dvd and some on mpeg4 format), anyone know of any good programs that can do this?  (free would be preferable!!)

Thanks

Have not tested it but you might be able to in windows movie maker.

Thanks for the suggestion!

google Simpledivx or media converter for nokia 770. either or both may be what you are looking for.

Looking again, perhaps Media Converter isn't right for you. Its aimed at the Nokia 770, but here's the link anyway. http://www.internettablettalk.com/content/view/150/2/

And getting back to SimpleDivX - its looks like it does what you want. See tab 7. Project which gives the option to split. Have you tried it? I've not needed that option yet but I suppose it might work ok as I've only had a few probs with the rest of it.
