4GB Mini SD and N80

The card will not work and only ever worked with the TIM model and a very early f/m.

Nokia will not produce a future f/m for the N80 as they do not have any plans to produce the card themselves.

On an N80 with the last firmware - v 4.0707.0.7 - I was able to work with an 2Gb Sandisk Ultra II card, formated on FAT32 file system. Since the phone works well with that file system, I thing that it was alble to work with cards bigger then 2gb.

On this site clicking on memory for the N80 link from the forums page brings up a list of cards that includes 4GB cards. However N80 is not listed as one of the compatible phones. The long-standing question remains as to whether there a 4GB card compatible with the N80 !

I think so. See my previous post. The issue is about file format system, and N80 works well with FAT32 format.
